good stuff
solid show / recording. 3.5 stars? The recording quality is what you generally expect in a festival environment: Mostly the band, but plenty of times where there is a screamer or talker nearby. Probably distance from the speakers was moderate, so the drums are a little mushy, and the directional aspect of the mics waver as the taper bobs his head. From a show perspective, this was a good mix of setlist. old stuff and new stuff and covers. the usual Jack Johnson set. Not sure who is rapping on Mudfootball (Ash Grunwald?). Thanks for allowing streaming / mp3's and thanks for recording!

Jack Johnson at the Riverstage (Taper's Review)
This was my 3rd time seeing Jack live, saw him at both Byron Bay Bluesfest shows.
It was an incredible show, more of a laid back jam session then a concert. With guest appearances by Tegan & Sara and Ash Grunwald, the night was great. Add to that, Zach went into the crowd to play his part, followed by Jack who was high fiving people.
Of all the Jack shows I've seen, and all the ones I've downloaded and listened to, this was one of the most enjoyable!
A must download!
